{Global Gifts - Macarons}


Macarons King Louis XIV and Queen Marie-Therese dined on macrons with their guests at their wedding celebration in 1660.  Although originally an Italian dessert, the macaron took its double-decker form in 1930, when the famed french bakery, Laduree in Paris decided to sandwich the cookies with ganache.  Treat your guests to the same royal treatment.  Handmade macarons, $72 for 48 -
